ATENCIÓN: 44 películas competirán por los Premios del Cine Europeo

La Academia de Cine Europeo dio a conocer el listado de las 44 películas que lucharán por conseguir algún premio en la próxima edición de los Premios del Cine Europeo, que se celebrará el 6 de diciembre en Copenhague. Las nominaciones se darán a conocer el día 8 de noviembre durante la celebración del festival de cine europeo de Sevilla.

De todas las candidatas, cabe resaltar la participación de "Happy go lucky" de Mike Leigh, que compite este año por el Oscar, y de las finalistas el año pasado al Oscar a mejor película extranjera como "Katyn" (Polonia), "12" (Rusia) y "Mongol" (Rusia/Alemania/Kazajistán). También compite la representante española del año pasado a esta categoría que finalmente no entró entre las cinco nominadas: "El orfanato" (España). Las otras cintas españolas son "3 días", del debutante Javier Gutiérrez, que ganó en el Festival de cine español de Málaga y "Caótica Ana", de Julio Médem.
"Atonement", finalista al Oscar a la mejor película es la virtual favortita en una carrera en la que tambíén participan la película francesa ganadora de la Palma de Oro, "Entre les murs"; el documental animado israelí "Waltz with blasir" o las últimas películas de los hermanos Dardenne y del cineasta Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
